I don't think there's anything unique to anywhere then, food is a shared thing across many different places

Suqaar is from saqiir ( arabic word ) :)

sorry ,what i meant was originated in Somalia or invented by Somalis , like the Anjeero to Ethiopia and pasta to Italy and the biryani to India like that

Cambuulo = Cow peas = Staple for millions. My family live on that and grow plenty on the coast.

I don't think there are a lot of unique Somali foods but the way that they make it is unique. The way hilib, bariis, suqaar, etc. is made definitely has its own feel, and definitely the bannana.
