Are you saying I'm being negative man? I just call 'em like I see 'em.

Look, 90% of Somalias problems are political. The other half are economic.

In Somalia, every time you stand up for an ideal, you are killed.

Mad, no you are not being negative and yes you are right, 90 % of somalias' problem is political...wich means a handful of people in the political phase are responsible. remove them from their posts... and the possibilities are endless...wasn't it Che Guevara who said " I am not a liberator. Liberators do not exist. The people liberate themselves." ...so its only a matter of time...

Screw,

If you believe in Somalia will come together one day in our life time, why don’t you quote some of these "great" men and women that will make it happen instead of western scholars and politicians….. I was just wondering bro.

Mad Mac…

You need to shut the fucck up man….what do you know about Somali people?
You talk a lot of trash around here like you know our people more than we do.

Basra.

Isn’t that “ironic”

Good to see you back. How was your trip in donkey land? Wink

Actually I probably do. I can certainly be objective in a way that you can not.

Mad,

Why because you spent couple of days in Af gooye and slept with some Somali hookers?

It takes decades to understand the complexity of Somali people. I suggest you sit back and learn before you speak.

I noticed you judge us a lot with no bases of knowledge to back up your perspectives in Somali people, our culture as well as our values.

You said Somali problems are 90% political. Some one who understands the history of Somalis in general wouldn’t make such statement.

I spent TWO YEARS living in the horn, not a couple of weeks.

And I have been studying the Somali problem for 12 years, not a few months. So spare me.

"Somali Problems"...you don't study people's problems to understand the dynamics of their existence and living two years in a ship by the coast of the horn doesn't make you an expert so shut it.
