Saw on the news on Royal TV that according to the UN, 130000 southernes who fleed Mogadishu and Bakool since 2007 is now living in Las Anod, they said that the locals had welcomed them and many owns businesses and has integrated into the local community, it means an entire generation of children who have never seen Mogadishu and Bakool grows up in Las Anod and view it as their own home town also thereby making Somalinimo stronger.

No one becomes a refugee in their own Country. Las Anood has always been part of Somalia. Those people can leave in Las Anod as long as they wish. Just the same way, People from Las Anod Can leave in Cadaado and Dhuusamareeb as long as they want. Las anod are part of the day dreamers who think Queen Elizabeth gave them responsibility. Like Queen Elizabeth had the rights to even step in Somalia.

Las Anod is not that small. Maybe 30,000-50,000, at least in 2006 from what I saw. I am not sure how much it has grown in the past 6 years though.
