The OLD 18th century British~ !

Post by Basra- »

They crack me upppp! I think I should have been born in that era, in that English, Island country! Look at how someone in that era describes King George iv's mistress! Her name was Maria Fitzherbert.

" She was a woman of spirit and spunk who liked an off-colour joke, spoke frankly and was remarkably self-reliant. Like her royal admirer, she was vain, proud and not without a sizeable ego. Fitzherbert was not a classic beauty, mocking her aquiline "Roman Catholic nose." Her chin was considered too "determined," her cheeks too broad and she had ill-fitting teeth. She had hazel eyes, silky blonde hair and flawless complexion"

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

I googled "Roman nose" ----It is said ---it is a nose with a high bridge. A sort of eagle like nose. Also, pay attention to ----"Her chin was considered too "determined"

What the HELL is that???? :dj: :dj: :dj:

Basra the slain King Richard III has been found! The king who was unduly murdered by future King Henry Tudor.

They found his remains and it seems he was killed in battle.

King Richard III was a none factor royal. The only interesting thing about him was a hunchback. (which ironically, is the one feature evidence they are using to identify this found skeleton.) Yes, he was murdered by King Henry the 7th, father of the King Henry the 8th. Shakespeare wrote a lot about him, possibly because of his hunchback. (then, a deformed feature glaringly obvious among the vain, and beauty loving british public)

They came from House of Hanover. After WWI they changed the name to House Windsor.

cute.  DO u even know what aristocratic means? :dj:

grandpa

Elizabeth is a tudor-- u know that right? :dj: But yeah, I get your point. Her era was called Elizabethan, and also golden era. Funnily, even Victoria was called a golden era. Both were women, both had a strong rule in England, and both were named after the era they ruled. Both also, began their reigh in 30s of their respective century- Eliza 1537 and Victoria 1837--and both died at the dawn of their respective following century. Moral of the story? Women make great rulers. Also it was God ordained, the pattern of similarity in time line is eerie. Elizabeth brought the era of enlightenment. She loved reading, under her-- art and education became rampant. (but King James--her nephew, should take the credit for art growth. Shakespeare is possible because of James) Victoria was more like---self righteous and uptightness. She didn't want to be like her mother who had no scruples .

The current monarch are from the German family- descendant of King William who came from Germany and had a heavy German accent. That's why they are not that cute looking. Diana though--is a true English beauty, and obviously her sons inherit the look. Diana was a direct relative of the Duchess of Devonshire, now made into a motion picture movie. She was a celebrity and a true English beauty in her days. :dj:

Saxe-Coburg were the ruling house of Europe as a whole and it broke down slowly into difference houses later forming the House of Windsor which is the ruler of the UK and the common wealth.

The English royal were cursed with having a male heir. I truly believe it was Alaah swt design to do that. Beginning from Elizabeth who was an accident bastard of her dad.. The female heir maybe childless and the make die young. The German came into the picture because they had a percentage of a royal DNA. :stylin:
