Next Dubai: Somalia's oil wealth

In dollars that is $12 Trillion’s worth placing Somalia higher than the UAE in the list of wealthiest oil nations.
Let’s see what other forums think of this trillion dollar game changing find.

Stormfront (Racist white nationalist forum)
There is so much in Africa that could be put to good use for the world. So unfortunate such a race has to live there.
The negro will just keep being negros and never even think about using any resources. Worthless sub-species.
This next quote is a very interesting because it actually has some truth to it:
I'd say "let them have it" if they had any clue what to do with it.
It’s true in terms of how Hassan Sheikh is STILL begging the EU for development and not asking for financial loans which will be paid back with the oil money, he is still saying stupid things such as “we need more international support to lift our country from the ground” What an embarrassment, he is giving foreign countries the perfect excuse to come and ‘help us’ expecting some return in oil.

Let’s look at Bodybuilding forum (This one is quite humorous)
ib4 somali pirates are flying F22s
I forget about that region. I think we should send some troops over there. America sucks right now we could use a couple trillion nam sayin?
somalia bout to get dat oil money.
the west better get up in there and strangle that bitch dry or China/Russia is gonna get to it and do so
lol @ Somalia being relevant. I wonder what the reactions like for actual somalians.

That one ^^ I want you guys to answer: what is your reaction? Lol

This is one is rude as hell and uneducated:
lol at people thinking somolia is going to be rich. money and oil flow out of 3rd world countries, not in.
LOL! THIS ONE:
Somalia is a third world sh*t hole in decades of civil war, it is literally the a**hole of this planet.

For once I think even America couldn't make it worse.
What does this one tell you? We need to drop the clan bullshit right now because it serious:
FUARK wish i had money to buy property in Somalia. Next Dubai, the return will be insane.
Some positive ones:
Wonder how the Somali Shilling is going to react to this...fukkin wish i had money.
Is it possible to trade dollars in for Somalian money?

Would this be a prudent move?
Which companies should i invest in?
damn, wish i had some money

LOOOL THIS ONE IS FUNNY!:
in b4 some famous american building is destroyed and the culprit is some Somalian Pirate on a wooden raft.
lets welcome them as our 51st state
i for one welcome our 51st state

Moving on, what does this tell us? The next UAE? With the right leadership, could be better since we have more oil than them – but sadly we don’t have an emir who cares about people, we have Hassan sheikh who is travelling the world on government expenses before his time ends, how sad.

Lets pretend that it becomes the next UAE, the best country in Africa, the immigration laws will not be able to handle it, this is what our immigration laws are like “If you’re a orphan, you’re Somali.” “if you’re born in Somalia you’re Somali” “if your father or mother is Somali you’re Somali” “if you where born anywhere else in the world you’re Somali”
“if your not Somali you’re Somali” “if you’re from Nigeria, you’re Somali” “if you look Somali like a Amhara, you’re Somali” “if you reside in Somalia for 5 years, you’re Somali”

LOL! A bit exaggerated but that is what it is like.. I mean, EVERY one in Africa will smuggle in for jobs, and don’t say that I’m a hypocrite because the west has allowed us to live in there because in total the Somali diaspora is around a million, we will have MORE then a million people trying to get in, possibly 40% of Africa will try to immigrate in.

I think we should have patriarchal citizenship laws, you’re only Somali if your dad is Somali and with reason otherwise the Somalis will be outbred, we should follow the UAE model which is also patriarchal, they are outnumbered in their country by workers but only citizens are the Emiratis and only if you’re a child of an Emirati can you be one. We should do the same and allow people to have residency in Somalia but not citizenship. The UN classify mass immigration as genocide so it won’t be frowned upon.
Recently when Hassan SH. Visited the EU and was questioned on development and how he will use the oil he completely dodged the question and said “We need your help to progress” WTF is he on about? We don’t need anyone help.

No wonder Turkey is trying to brainwash us into giving up our resources, no wonder the UK is ‘helping’ create a democratic country, they all want discount on the oil (that is if they don’t suck it the fuck up and leave)

What are your opinions? Should we dish clanism out the window and enjoy the oil $$?, Should citizenship be patriarchal to preserve Somalis? Do you think Hassan Shiekh has the UAE vision or is he simply a puppet that will sell us out like Nigeria?

I've realised SNET is a bit fake though, if you go to a Somali restaurant where the men talk about politics/tribalism they never say rude to things to each other all they do is discuss solutions but SNET creates hateful keyboard warriors.

We have so much potential to become successful but there will always be something tying us down. Qabiil has destroyed our beloved country and our mindset while putting millions of us into a diaspora across the globe. Indeed many people are coming back to the homeland but we'll never prosper without fixing ourselves as people and as Somali.

Insha'allah I have faith we will get there.

Also, hydrogen, are you from the region of Puntland? You're one of the few on here who doesn't bash it.
