What is happening to Puntland? They were resourceful, united autonomous nation that was prospering few months ago. Puntland is know and is still know for their patriotic qualities. They love helping their fellow somalis brothers and sisters. They carry ALMOST the entire history of Somalia in general. We could not have won our independence without Darod (precisely MJs), we could not have chased the white men away without Darod's assistance. These people have a good lineage, they are respected, they are the most hated yet the most loved tribes in Somalia.

Bottom line, Puntland is doing so bad these couple of months and its breaking my heart. Every news that I read I hear some blast going off in Garowe, Bosaaso, Galkacyo; you get my fleet. Yesterday I was reading this article wrote by Slander that was ridiculing the downfall of puntland at the same time praising their little fairytale government and Somalia too. These are the same people, that were stepping on Somalis during the drought days. Now they are trying to get close to Somalia while puntland is doing really bad.

This is not something new, it has been happening since 2009 in Puntland ever since those Pakistani Sheikhs were killed in Galkayo. Since 2009 over hundreds were assassinated. It is sometimes Al shabab sometimes clan related. Anyhow IMO Puntland can get through it, Unity is the answer and defeating Al shabab in the Galgala
