lol - malin dhowed waxan diday inaa wax ka bixiyo qarashka nin arosaya... dadki dhan way igu xanaqen. they say that's the only time u must pitch in. Ninkan ma shaqeyo wana broke ass. I said ya u masrufaya hadan anagu aros u dhisno. Lakin waa long standing Somali custom and I decided not to say no next time... Dadka shaxadka wax masiyo lakin workers-ka and service providers-ka aad baan u dhaqaaleeya. Like hadu mid gariga ii dhaqo and asks for 15k I give him 30K. It encourages entrepreneurial spirits... Marka shaxadka diidana it discourages shaxad...

wa runta, we need to not support begging. but if they decide to get a job, even cleaning cars, streets, those ba sadaqada ko bahda.

hey waryaa, i heard in somalia schools are cheap. my dream is to support orphan kid. what you think is average cost to fully support kid, his or her school , food and clothing? i researched mar and they told me school is around $25 a month. the only thing i support is helping people to get education, so they can work and support their family .

They have the same infomercials here, except the clerics here promise great rewards from Jesus instead of Allah if you send them money. It's called faith based fraud.

The other annoying thing is similar infomercials from Somali doctors and health clinics telling unsuspecting somalis that they are better than other doctors.

right, do mainstream doctors advertise their services on TV?
It's Somali phenomenon to have of the outdated doctor, mainly trained in Russia early 70s. Indha-adayga intay tv-ga soo fadhiistaan ayay dadka qaladaad kula taliyaan.
There is an on-going police investigation against the most well known Dr. Macaw for making money and prescribing unrelated medicine.
Remember Faadumo Qasim ho died of cancer last year was one of his patient.
