its your peoples fault bro... you know this school was sending kids to prestigious school here in America..last month this kid got a free ride to this school in Ohio, the most expensive school in all of ohio..I think the tuition for each quarter was like 45k but thanks to Abaarso tech he got a free ride..but as u can see qabilism is our achiles heel

Almost everything is about money making these days.

I want to know what his motivation was in setting up a school in a small village in Somaliland. Did anybody check his history, for all you know he could be a paedophile,murderer,rapist or any other criminal. Our common folk assume a white man with some books is a teacher.
We need to put in place a proper vetting system.

arso when i ws there this past summer i stopped by abaarso tech to check it out for my nephew to go there..I noticed girls are seperated from boys..however, these kids can travel to each other in the cover of darkness..plus they have unlimited access to the internet..plus the girls r allowed to play basketball which can make them non-virgins

I have been to Abaarso Tech many times in the past few years. Your post and the one you quote are accusatory, false, and illogical.

1) It is DEFINITELY not a Christian school. The school follows the Somaliland National Curriculum, which includes Islamic Studies classes taught by a local sheikh. There is a large, new, beautiful mosque on school grounds. Prayer breaks are scheduled during the school day. All female students are required to wear a hijab, and all females (students, teachers, and staff) dress in accordance with the local Somali and Islamic culture. Teaching any other religion is not allowed.

2) The girls and boys are separated, but you forgot to mention that there are also dorm parents who live with the students. The dorm parents are local, well-respected Somalis (nominated by the school parent committee) that have rooms inside the dormitories and are in charge of the students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

3)The students absolutely do NOT have unlimited access to internet. They are allowed to use the internet during computer class and during study hall. There are very strict filters on the network that do not allow them to visit any inappropriate websites.

4) You are correct that the girls are allowed to play basketball, though only with other girls. However, I don't know what you mean when you say playing basketball "can make them non-virgins." I'm sorry your sexual education has failed you so miserably. This is truly an offensive statement, not to mention supremely idiotic.

As for the video, it should be noted that the meeting shown took place a few months ago, not recently. The school currently has a fine working relationship with the government, and the government has been supportive of the school. This video has been taken out of context and makes it seem as though the school is likely to move, which is not the case.
