I met Johnathan a few times in Hargeisa. He is a truly nice fellow who wanted to help out. I just had hoped that the typical Skinny mentality would not turn against him. The school was state of the art but again, leave it to greed ruin such a good thing. Johnathan was not making a profit on this. He is not Somali, and has no particular reason to invest in a people who are foreigners, Muslims and hail from the most backwards parts of Africa.

If he did this in a Bantu Christian community in say like Kenya, he would be treated like a hero and a VIP.

It is sad that Somali kids lose a great school. Also it is fair to verify the intention of all those who come to our country in the name of help.. There are decent people out there and there people with hidden intentions out there. Unless they have a proof that the guy had bad intentions they shouldn't close the school.
