Outrage at Christian teen's anti-gay rap video in which she tells homosexuals to choose between 'their mate and their fate'

A teenage girl has posted a rap-style video online where she launches into a homophobic rant, warning that she doesn't want gay people 'to bake in a lake of fire for the name of love sake'.

The amateurish clip, entitled 'Rated T For Tolerance', opens with a girl dressed in jeans and t-shirt standing in a secluded woodland area.

Accompanied by a soaring backing track, she delivers the rhyming sentences: 'Don’t propagate your hate, because I have a higher standard on who you date.'


In the stilted, two-minute message - which has received more than 160,000 views on YouTube as of today - she says: 'I’m not here to rally against that which the government legislates, I simply don’t support a mind that is reprobate.


'Homosexuality is not innate. It is not a genetic trait. It cannot replicate the love between a man and a woman in which God did indeed create.'

Emphasizing her points with flailing hand gestures, the zealous video star adds: 'Now I can’t dictate one’s life and who they call a soul mate, I simply don’t want them to bake in a lake of fire for the name of love sake.

'Despite your opinion, it is always a choice with whom you fornicate.'




The teenager adds: 'The media tries to educate that this behavior is something we must tolerate, using propaganda like movies and TV shows to indoctrinate.

'This is not to discriminate but demonstrate that same-sex relations devastate the health of many.'

The clip ends with a choice for the listener: 'In the end there are two gates', she raps. 'One that is golden and one that separates.


'So what's it going to be - your mate or your fate?'


The poem was written by a group called Apologetics and it is unclear how much involvement the teenage girl had in the words she speaks. The video was posted online in June 2012.

Dozens of people posted their outrage on Twitter over the clip. One user Mary Tischbein wrote: 'Sad brainwashed little girl' while Kevin Cook tweeted: 'Anti-Gay Rap. Wow, just wow. Now I hate rap even more.'
