What could they really be ill with though? Something that seems like cancer only manmade?

I agree its uncanny but I can't think of how anyone could get away with giving their political threats cancer.

Could be anything. I know that fungal diseases are sometimes misdiagnosed as cancer, but chemicals like dioxins and many others can and have caused it. What would be even more interesting if targeted radiation had been used. I picture some sort of cancer-causing sniper gun lol.

Plenty political leaders have been poisoned. The last case I know of was Victor Yushchenko of Ukraine. People have and currently do "get away with" toppling entire governments by funding coup d'etats and arming rebellions. This is far more cost effective. And anyone even trying to connect the dots is automatically written off as a nutcase

When motive, capability, and past/current history of malice are all present, someone's gotta ask the questions.

ALpha

Its ironic that u did not consider Allaah swt into the equation. Perhaps this is Gods way to rid them out of the way for a society or a people to move along. Leaders of countries usually have immense power and can change the route of many peoples destiny. No wonder most of the leaders usually succumb to cancerous diagnosis. Another common thing is --assassinations. Abraham Lincoln was assassinated for a nation to heal. Had he been alive---there would have been a devision and problems. His death free and started a new fresh start. Kennedy who was also assassinated suffered from a chronic disease that shaped his character--(not his womanizing character)---but soft and empathetic. It basically made him a good leader. Mubarak of Egypt foolishly surrendered to the arab rising due to his illness--possibly Cancer. Sadly, they in the end the did not even appreciate his voluntary resignation and treated him like a criminal. Asad of Syria doesn't want the same happening to him. In a way, he is smarter because he knows arabs don't need democracy, they need to fear their leader. Moi of Kenya ruled for many years until succumbed by chronic illness, possibly cancer. Castro, and hugo are no different. ALlaah swt intervenes for them to get out of the way.

by the way Alpha--Fungal disease is also a symptom of compromised immune system. :dj: (Cancer and HIV is one of them)

Alpha also I have a sense that u r interested in this cancer conspiracy because u have AIDS> :dj:

Ortega and Chavez forge Latin America future
Referring to his plans for Nicaragua [Ortega] said, "We need more programs of infrastructure, highways and energy. We also need to integrate the region of Central America and open the doors wide to the Latin American Community of ALBA (Allianza Bolivariana de los Pueblos de Nuestra America). This is a huge task we have with ALBA, we must win the battle."

ALBA, the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America, is based on the idea of social, political and economic integration between the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, associated with socialist governments and based on a vision of social welfare.

Its member nations are Antigua and Barbuda, Bolivia, Cuba, Dominica, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Venezuela. ALBA nations are in the process of introducing a new regional currency, the SUCRE. They have founded their own regional bank, BANCO DEL SUR, Bank of the South.

During the meeting in Managua the presidents of Nicaragua and Venezuela, it was agreed to continue strengthening their economic cooperation. "2012 will be a very important year for both of us," Hugo Chavez said. "We will work hard to consolidate what we have already achieved in our common economic space. ALBA is the mechanism to unite our nations. We need to fortify ALBA."
Both presidents support the Socialist Arab Republics of Libya and Syria. When the Great Jamahiriya was attacked by NATO and invaded by western paid mercenaries who are currently posing as the governing "Council" in Libya, Chavez and Ortega repeatedly called for mediation and offered help. Unfortunately, their calls went unheard.

Now that Syria is threatened by the same process of foreign instigated upheaval and chaos, again Chavez and Ortega are among those world leaders who speak out clearly in defense of President Bashar al-Assad, the Socialist Baath Party and the Socialist Arab Republic of Syria.

Furthermore, both have strong ties to Iran. Daniel Ortega told the press that the "revolutions of Iran and Nicaragua are almost twin revolutions ... since both revolutions are about justice, liberty, self-determination and the struggle against imperialism."

Thus the observer watching from a distance might be able to see a new axis of powers forming, an axis that stretches from the Middle East to the Caribbean and Latin America, with strong ties to the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China.
CIA infects South American leaders with cancer?
WikiLeaks reported that in 2008 the CIA asked its embassy in Paraguay (Fernando Lugo!) to collect all biometric data, including the DNA of all four presidential candidates.
2012 fue el año de la consolidación del SUCRE
Transactions increased by 520%. XSU In total 850 million were traded, equivalent to 1,100 million. The president of CMR, Eudomar Tovar, 2013 reported that there are conditions to settle near XSU 1,700 million.

The 2012 marked the consolidation of the Regional Clearance Unitary System (SUCRE), as a trade platform agile, effective and safe, it also underpinned inclusive economic development, solidarity and sovereignty of countries that make life in the Bolivarian Alternative for the Peoples of Our America-Trade Treaty of the Peoples (ALBA-TCP).

The figures obtained, while providing a highly positive balance, leading to the chairman of the SUCRE Regional Council and Senior Vice President of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV), Eudomar Tovar, to qualify the past 2012 as the year of consolidation this alternative system, which allows import and export operations between Cuba, Bolivia, Venezuela and Ecuador, without the need for foreign exchange to cancel payments to local producers of each member nation.

Chávez was responsible for the biggest geopolitical change in the history of Latin America: regional integration.

He proposed the creation of a regional body that would exclude the United States. Then president of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva supported him, and South American integration was born: they created the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR), the South American Defence Council and the Bank of the South (BancoSur), Chávez's initiative to isolate the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, both of which have deplorable records in the region.

The jewel in the crown was the inaugural meeting of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) in February 2010, convened by Lula, without the United States or Canada, in which all the regional nations took part, including Cuba.

"(It) has been one of the most important geopolitical changes over the last decade," said Mark Weisbrot, co-director of the Washington-based Centre for Economic and Policy Research.
China Supports Argentina in Claim Over Malvinas Islands
