Buy a long telephone cable.
Move modem/router from apartment (A) to apartment (B)
Use the telephone cable to link router/modem in apartment (B) and the phone in apartment (A) thru the windows.

Would this shift the signal to apartment (B) entirely?

If so.

Yeah that would shift the signal to the apartment the router is located at, and it wouldn't be a telephone cable, its Ethernet cable which looks like a telephone cable but is a bit larger.

After returning home, i checked the router to see how many wires were plugged into it.
Apart from the ethernet, which resembles the telephone cable, there was also a white cable
that looked like that of TVs plugged in as well.
