Wealth (interms of money)
Do you think about being wealthy, do you want to be wealthy? do you work towards it? If yes to these questions, what is the first thing that comes to your mind when you see that vision of yourself as wealthy man or woman? wordly wealth I'm speaking of.
What would you do with it?
What would you do with it?

Re: Wealth (interms of money)
Whats your definition of wealthy though?
Driving good cars, having enough money where you never have to worry about it or wealthy as in $20 million in your bank account?

You have to make the money first in order to drive nice cars. Wealth interms of money or even say companies generating you income.GeoSeven wrote:Whats your definition of wealthy though?

Re: Wealth (interms of money)
I dreamed about becoming wealthy ever since I can remember. just haven't been willing to put the hard work or the sacrifices required to get there. I have been able to create a cash flow outside of my normal job though.

Extent the comfort to relatives and close friends. Build lots of mosques so you get rewards for every person that prays there and set yourself up for akhira

Re: Wealth (interms of money)
Welath for me would be the ability to free myself from corporate slavery, and still be able to live comfortably and take care of my family.
A working business that generates income and the ability to employ people and give sadaqa.
i dont really care about cars, bling bling and the lifestyle, been there done that.
i went up a little high, owned luxury cars, had a mean bachelor pad, travelled allot, then i crashed so bad i was bankrupt owing a huge amount of money.
i crawled my way back to upper middle class income level in the past 3 years got married and realised there is allot more to life.
so now alxamdulilah, i give more sadaqa, live a simple life, drive a 2008 honda civic instead of the Lexus IS300 i drove 3 years back, or the Mercedes C200 before that.
even though financially i am secire and can afford to spulrge i dont anymore because i dont feel the need.

I'd be happy with a good immunisation policy. Don't wanna be a victim when the tide wave comes in. As long as wealth keeps me healthy and stable i don't need anymore.

Re: Wealth (interms of money)
No, I don't think about being wealthy. Had a comfortable life my whole existence. I do think about business opportunities though, when someone mentions something they would like to have or I notice a gap in the market automatically I think of how that void can be filled and what role I could play. I have no doubt that eventually I will be wealthy myself but that doesn't matter as much as pursuing my interests, using my talents and making things happen. When I picture myself in the future I think of the land and house I'll own and the kids who will play there while I cook for them (shocking I know
