Re: Maxaad la noqon?
When I'm here I always moan and complain how much I hate it here and how the weather sucks and that I'd like to move out to somewhere hot and you know different. But whenever I go on holidays, I get homesick. There's just this attachment I have with my place of residence. So I don't think I could ever permanently move to Somalia.

Attachments can be strong, but also adjustment to a new set of living where you have to do with less is possible. It all depends on what motivation someone has to live in a particular place different from their home base sometimes and why. I think one can grow to love a new place, or adjust to it slowly. If your plan is to vacation for a month or few weeks, then getting homesick is natural, cause you already know you are going back, so you want return sooner.
