thanks brother STARKAST for this intersting thread.
i the north side of the equator/al khat al istawa in africa/ifriqiya it has more rainfalls.
Africa has 6 climatic geography like the highlands, equatorial, savanah, arid, semi-arid and the mediterranean zone.
Coastal land of the south africa, the cape to moritania has a great rainfalls
sierra lione i think is the most rainy african country receives 3800mm per year
Morocco is at the atlantic, receives more rain and snow and all the winter season its rainy.
the maditerranean zone is great actually their coastalland is foresty, they receive rainfalls up to 250 mm per year.
The arid zones are like chad, mali...
Now north east africa/somalia is in the highland zone, for some how our highlands are different then the rest of the world where their highlands have more rainfalls however in etheopia they are better

Re: Somalia general geographical knowledge game
No. im just kinda shaykhal kul.
when it comes to the sea resources there are two great regions .
Just quickly on the other region as the topic is different its south of the equator there is alot of oil south of kismayo....
the other region is bari for having many geographical factors for example bosaso is located at gulf of adan/arabian sea and raas hafun at the indian ocean. It has a massive coastal plain unlike of the rest of somalia about like 80km where the other places in somalia have like 25km of coastal plain.
I would just say bari region of puntland like i said before southwest has more rainfails because i dont know the towns but you said its baidao and yeah its located in southwest.
I could imagin being bander beyle since there is too much illegal foreing vessels but i would go just for bari as a whole.
