As I have told you from the very beginning.....this Govt is powerless to intervene in Kismayo.
Any group or party willing to hang their hat on Hassan Sheikh will be sorely disappointed.

Sahal....from what your saying its clear this Govt see`s conflict in the regions as something to exploit to its advantage.

Saaxib the mogadishu elite have done everything in their power to stop this from the early stages, 1 they tried to sabotage the grand meeting by forcefully grounding some of the core elders in the meeting, secondly after much noise of how this regime is sabotaging this law abiding federal proposal they send one of of the sons of jubaland mr shirdoon who btw did not attend the meeting taking place nor met any significant representitives .3 went behind the respectful gedo delegates of gedo region and appointed some dude as the official representitive of the region just so he can dwarf and cancel the meeting and the outcome of it... however everything they tried did not work..

1.The meeting did take place
2.The elders and the elected officials did come to an agreement.
3. Constitution was signed
4.flag was adopted
5.the city is in control of the said administration.
6.backed by 99% of the darood


if hawiye want to develop there region and sometime this century create something similar to ximin and xeeb they are welcome to it however this is 2013 we darood dont wish harm on anyone dont push us.

you are a big liar, this conference is only backed by a section of the darod mostly MJ/OG (kab iyo lax). You won't see any Marehan supporting this conference feverishly only a few sell outs. Marehans oppose this and we back Maxamad Cabdi Kaliil 100%. jubbaland will never succeed as long as jabhad beeleed iyo kenya is there.

The current gov will do whatever it takes to dismantle Jubaland. Aside from the obvious, there's another major concern: domino effect. If Jland succeeds then D&M and friends will follow suit and claim everything between Jland and Mogadishu. If that happens the federal gov will be confined from Mogadishu to Beledweyn.
