somali govt: amisom(kenya) should stay neutral

Post by sahal80 »

I have to delate the shyt link didn't now it has shyt readers.
Basically the interior minister have asked amisom(kenya) "to not intervine in the kismayo conflict and stay neutral as both the two administrations are unrecognized calling amisom and the govt forces to do their job of keeping the order in the town".

if Amisom stays neutral that means chaos that means Barre hiiraale will sit on one side of the city and axmed madoobe on the other side with his militia. The city needs one authority. Clearly the Govt in Mogadishu wants to see a clash and when there is chaos its easy to rule Amisom Kenya will withdraw and it will be replaced by another group that's the aim of the government in Mogadishu. I some how believe that Amisom kenya will side with Ahmed madoobe and support his administration. Remember uhurro and hassan still dont agree even if Hassan does not agree with Jubbaland. As long as the Kenyans remain in Somalia Jubbaland under axmed madoobe will exist and Igad is in support both Kenya and Ethiopia even the latter is indifferent but they will not support the Somali government position.Only Djibouti is on hassan side but Djibouti is a tiny country with no capacity.Really Jubbaland does not need the SFG to survive , they have 5000 kenyans on their side they can built an autonomous state and deliver basic services to their people The 2000 raskambooni troops are a good foundation for the state. And i am hearing the Merehaan participants are also on board. Ahmed madoobes objective is to free the region from shabaab and train more troops forge closer relations with ethiopia and kenya and estbalish an autonomouse state show that u are independent of the sfg like Puntland but at the same time show that u are reasonable and support the Somalia constitution of federalism.

Good luck

The government that cant safeguard its roads, its courts and most importantly the presidential villa is going to attack kismaayo? Far from it! If Hassan shaikh had any force he would secure Xaarmar first. As for barre bootin dheere he will be chased back to abudwaaq like we did last time he ran his marathon. Get used to it because you will answer to ogaden from this day forward!

generally I agree with your point, kenya may side with the shaykh againist the col but the world is now talkinig about the kenyan proxy war so would they fall in that trap? This also works for the govt. According to the govt the recognized group will be appointed by them.

Its clear he has a secret contacts with the govt but he didn't declare a war and there are now the govt delegation. What they want is to keep the balance that why they are saying stay from both of them so they can come up with the political solution. I think both of their camps will part of a new official administration as a solution.

Fyi, the swahili language was developed by muslims who live on the coast of east africa. It's a mix of local languages and arabic.
