We won't claim you in domestic politics. I am for Somaliland as a country. I am for Somaliland recognition. But only in the eyes of Mogadishu. Not according to anyone else. Only reason why you really need recognition is for things like IMF loans and nonsense like that. You recognize yourselves and Mogadishu will recognize you and you can get EU delegations to Hargeisa and you can go to them in Brussels like you do right now. The only reason why I am against Somaliland worldwide recognition is because I am afraid it will be a lose-lose situation for Mogadishu. Mogadishu must also win. You say you can do what we want but I don't think it can happen which is why it's best you control that whole region but no recognition. It will satisfy our concerns and also give you more power and freedom that you have now. This is a fair compromise. Also I think this is what is going to happen. There will be a middle solution. Not our extreme position and not your extreme position. Neither of us will get what we fully want but we will both be somewhat pleased.

Can you elaborate on this point i dont get this part , you want Somaliland to remain unrecognized so that Mogadishu does not lose but what does Mogadishu lose , When Sudan agreed to separation they had in their minds they would lose 80% of their oil. But what will Mogadishu practically lose.

^ but then if (i hope but doubt it) somalia can actually control all its italian colonial boundries and establish law, order and governance and somaliland is still ruled by itself it really would make it an awkward situation for xamar and the world will demand somaliland be governed by a recognised authority

I meant win-lose situation. Only one side wins. Your side. It must be win-win on both sides.

There is no guarantee the entire British Somaliland borders will be recognized. It is not 100%. It's most likely only your part will be recognized. That is the likely situation. Whatever you say might not come into fruition. I don't want a part of it recognized. Which is why i am against your international recognition.

SL is in control of 90% of the former British protectorate , if the Hawiyes support it we can avoid international mediation and all drama and a long process. I am sure by the end of this year we will be controlling 97% of the territory. As long as in the next talks we define the defacto boundaries of Somaliland that they are of the British Somaliland than u have nothing to worry. Dont you trust me , dont tell me the mighty hawiye is worried about a few kastumites siting in a village of taleex  i can assure you that if we come to an agreement the entire region will be recognized. Do not worry about the Puntians we have defeated them before. When that happens we will import all sort of weapons 100 T90 tanks and we wil destroy Majeerteenia we will sandwich them if they refuse to be under Mogadishu.

Ethiopia is kept together with force and has a strong army that can overpower the various Kilils if there were secession attempts it can crush any separatist movement and its federal states come under a strong federal government. If we move to Somalia or the former Somali republic federalism and autonomism is widely interpolated how the politicians want. Every one has his own methods of how he wants to see Somalia where his tribe can be the leader. Puntland and Jubbaland want weak federal government but strong autonomous states yet the country to remain united. And to join forces to take the lead of the country and use their tribal homelands as a base to assume the highest office and to enrich their tribal homelands. Somalias biggest problem will be no effective institutions military police to uphold the law and order. if Puntland tomorrow declares independence there is no one that can stop them. But if the oromo kilil declares a state in adama as a desperate state free of Ethiopia. The TPLF forces will mobilize their federal forces and send them to Adama and crush them. Another obstacle to Somalias unity is Kenya's involvement Kenya already sits on a huge Somali province and the Somali province and the Somali jubbaland region the people of those regions are tribally related. That doesn't mean that Somalia will disintegrate now or in the near future but it can happen. And it has a bigger chance to disintegrate than Ethiopia because Ethiopia although not culturally and ethnically not united. There is still a sense of nationalism with in them, Somalis have no sense of nationalism Somalis are tribal nationalists. The bigger picture is most of the time the same as the smaller picture they cant distinguish the 2. Those who oppose the lose autonomous states are opposed to it for tribal reason and those who are for it are doing it for tribal reasons

Just with one accident, ethiopia will disintegrate forever.
The somali people share country, share somalia, all the clans are somalis but they don't believe in a nationhood state.
According to the CIA and the Central Bank of Somalia, despite experiencing civil unrest, Somalia has maintained a healthy informal economy, based mainly on livestock, remittance/money transfer companies and telecommunications.[1][2]
[qu ote][/quote]

Economically, somalis are great shareholders....look how they controlled south africa when it comes to foreigners, nairobi... Every civilazed stuff in south sudan is owned by a somali...
Look at the very same somaliwane telecommunication companies like hormood telecom,Golis, nation link covering the services in the south, puntland, somaliland... In all the somali cities! They are owned by the same people or the same shareholders.

As for federalism, this Is not yet done and it doesn't say wich federalism plus the constitution is unfinished.
The man who made(his file) this constitution is the ex minister of dastuurka abdi hoosh and he was saying yesterday the jubbaland conference is unconstitutional! Btw he hails from puntland(goldogob)
Days ago he revealed it was guddiga ansaxinta dastuurka who modified the draft of saxiixayaasha and stated that the somali capital is mogadisho and changed the presidential term from 5 years to 4 years and not hassan sheekh! It was before he got elected weeks ago and they sent it to the UN!
Now igad is asking ahmed madoobe to sign for a newly modified(revision) constitution wich is under way and gives the central state the right to control the port and the national resources, one army..wich are the govt conditions to get accepted( just a proposal)
This modified draf is underway and its the best federalism for somalia. Now the govt is appointing the interim governors and when the federal states are ready they have to fit in that draft. No problem.

J/Land will be recognised with some conditions.
The port and airport will be controlled by the local authority.
