To, Ugaas Sahal80 and alike minded!!!

Post by Individual »

We all know what is happening in somalia with kenya and ethiopia intervening and meddling IN national issue OF Somalia, the question that all citizen if Somalia wants an answer to is, why not kick Kenya ''out of amisom'' and Ethiopia of Somalia.

This SOLUTION is from a Former diplomat & a recovering political analyst Abukar arman, and he says about the conflict in JUBALAND;
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
''President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud must directly appeal to and mend fences with the elders and opinion-makers of the aforementioned aggrieved clan also help de-escalate the intra-clan tension through face-to-face, radio, television and internet.

The President should immediately appoint a highly credible envoy to spearhead a diplomatic campaign and be stationed in Nairobi Embassy. It is there where the political infrastructure and the apparatus propelling the Jubbaland project are fueled.

Provide a face-saving opportunity for key contending actors by appointing them or any of their chosen representatives, along with other government representatives, as part of a Stabilization Council to defuse the tension. This Council can play the role of the Governor and govern the region by consensus for 90 or so days before an all-inclusive election would take place.

In the event that they dismiss the offer, the government should request the Kenyan troops to arrest those jeopardizing the security of the region. Precedent was set when two of the most feared warlords were arrested in Mogadishu on two different occasions. In the event that Kenya dismisses the request, the government should exercise its authority to issue a Cease and Desist and demand the immediate withdrawal of the Kenyan (and Ethiopian) troops.

Such an action would put the onus on Kenya to indicate its stance: Is it part of the AMISOM which operates under AU/UN mandate and is in partnership with the Federal Government, or is it a stealth occupying force
?''

Hassan Sheikh has burnt all his bridges with J/Land.
We see his Govt as a continuation of the USC......a clan based enemy organisation.
Nothing less than total autonomy from Xamar will suffice.

By trying to instigate war and destruction in a peaceful region for clan interests, Hassan Sheikh has lost all legitimacy in the eyes of the people of J/Land.

What people of Jubaland, 65% of the peopleof Jubaland are with the Somali Government and are against Madobe!, by example; Mr. Hirsi Boot an elder from the region has pleaded with the federal government to come to the rescue of the city as insecurity in the region increased gradually, and the commander colonel Farah Makombo who is the newly appointed military commander in charge of federal governments troops in the Juba regions pleaded with the federal government to deploy troops to the region and informed the government that the troops based in Kismayu were clan militia.

Please respond back with tact and no emotional led response!

Like Hassan Sheikh said......one mans moryaan is another's liberation hero.
The only insecurity in Kismayo is that instigated from Villa Somali.

ONE thing we could all agree on, is that the president should have made a RECONCILIATION CONFERENCE for all the tribes and stake holders in Somalia.

Yeah he should do so.

I got for you news the govt has rejected the igad proposal and sticking with their position regarding the unconstitutional multi-administrations in kismayo.
Don't worry about igad the World has involved in it.

He had all the Somali support when he took office...but chose to pursue a narrow 1991 clannish agenda.
Its too late now.....the trust and goodwill has been replaced with suspicion and hostility.

Look son....it aint about Darood/Hawiye etc.
The president should have been a unifying force for Somalis.
Instead he is seen by a large section of Somali`s as no different to the warlord president Abdulqasim.
