How regularly do you read Quran?

Post by SiennaEarth »

Ever since I stopped going mosque I've stopped reading it. It's so hard to make it regular. It's so sad some of us claim to love the deen and practising yet don't read the Quran daily speaking of myself first. The Quran is one of the most important things in Islam and if we don't read it daily how can we ever get to Jannah? :(

Alhamdulilah, don't let go of that habit coz once you do it's hard to get back to it wallah.

am like that aswell. what i do when i wanna get back to reading regularly is i join a group at my local mosque who do suubaac or xaalqa. its like twice a week and you read one juzz. but you end up reading everyday because you have to prepare for the subaac. i find it hard to read at home everyday aswell.

Simple solution...masjidka ku laabo. You will never keep a good habit if you are not in company of those who do it. There are good ukhtis you can find that hold circles and lessons...aniga personally since i left dugsi i stayed close with my kabiir so i see him regularly he is a well learned student...good thing is, waa FOB meaning ciyaar iyo dheeldheel waaku cusubyahay so i make sure i keep it serious with him most of the time...

this is an easy question that some will find it hard to answer due to the feeling of guiltiness, if this is you, the month of ramadan is around the corner, another chance to get back to life's prescription, to have a clean and healthy heart.

What do you do after fajr prayers? Thats is the best time to read few chapters. You can spare at least 20 mins after every fajr. Its an amazing time to read and memorize it since its really quite early in the morning.

I go hard for a week or so then don't touch the musxaf for a minute :( Good thing Ramadan is around the corner though.

I know, sleep is very much sweet and its all sheydan's work  But try reading at least one chapter before you go back to sleep. Just few minuets.
