women warlordism a new trend in.....???
somali women are known for being superb in family building and keeping them together by taking all necessary steps, including working long hours in harsh and unsafe environments to provide for their families while their husbands chew khat or did nothing else but fadhi kudir and their sons went stray.
but a new disturbing trend is emerging. the percentage of somali women organizing or participating in clan-based politics is increasing and it could further destabilize somalia and create more animosity among groups.
because of inexperience in politics, somali women may use words that can be viewed contrary to their long standing position of moderation in somali politics and influence their children in unhealthy way.
here somali women participating in clan politics:
i am not against or for...i am just wondering what their point is and why they felt they needed to come out and stood alongside with their clan members!
they could be discussing something relevant to their situation, like family issues and other important issues concerning their communities in the united kingdom.

It's not a new disturbing trend that is emerging. Somali women from those particular regions in Somalia have always been political.

Women from a certain clan are highly politicized and are even used to satisfy foreign troops, they are the worst women in the sight of Islam.

wow! really disturbing to hear such thing!
but my other question is that if the woman is married to a guy from the rival clan, what would she do? divorce him?
what would happen to the children?
and is there any case where the husband and the wife divorced because of their inter-clan fighting?
honestly, i wouldn't be surprised as our people are capable of doing the most unimaginable things for their tribes.
