General Jaamac Qaalib's book 'the costs of dictatorship"

Post by X.Playa »

Excellent book and excellent writing for a man of his educations who studied less then 2 years outside of Somali republic, i have never liked the man till i read his book, he must be one of the few Idoor writers who can add something to Somaliland's history instead of that lunatic Boobe Yuusuf Ducaale and the rest of qaad-walayaal.

He is more honest then all the current somaliland politicians, compared to Buubaa/Faysal/Cawil/Saleebaan Gaal/ Cumar Carte Ghaalib/ Ciro (sacad muuse interrior minister) , Ismaaciil Faqash, he is more Anti-Faqash then all of these scum bags.

He is one of the few men of principle who has stayed true to his values. Where can I pick up the book ? I read the Politics of Cain by Professor Bulhan and thought it was decent.

I read in 2006/7 when i needed it most, it is a great book. Jama worked with the junta until 80s so he knew its in and out and the book is a good read for anyone who wants to understand dictatorship.

General Jaamac Yare is one of my late father's (AUN) closes friends, going back to their childhood. In fact during the political power fight in Hargaysa after the 1993 Borama conference I fully supported Jamac Yare over Cigaal (AUN). To be honest I was bias. Because one of them was my late father's close friend and political ally, the other was a political rival going back to the late 1950s. Jaamac Yare is also from Ceerigabo and his reer abti are Ogayslabe. He also happens to be the only dirty waqooyi Silanyo respects. The General praises Silanyo in his book. There were Idoors like Cigaal who accused the General of being a faqash spy after he was fired by the Afweyne regime (1983 or 1984). Silanyo came to the defense of Jamac Yare and said he was working for the SNM and giving them intel about the Afwayne regime in Xamar. Even though the General is a dirty waqooyi in Xamar, I will go through a wall to defend him.

Xiis Change your location niyohow, you aren't from Maydh. Yeyna ku arkiin nimaankii Musa Tuurwa, Jibril Tuurwa iyo Musa Carre.

Bwt I think General Jaamac Qaalib's reer abti are Cumar, Warsangeli not Ogayslabe. I know some of his relatives.

Jamac Qalib and Egals rivalry one would say was more than mere political differences the two men really hated each other with contempt.

I personally know Jaamac Yare. I will assure 100% kiddo that his reer abti are Ogaslabe. His wife his Yemeni and I also personally know his five sons and four daughters.

Unlike you I don't separate Isaaq. I respect all of Sheikh Isaaq's eight sons and their descendants. Xiis and Maydh will always be twin cities. BTW my paternal grandmother (AUN) was related to the legendary Sheikh Saciid Maydh (AUN). Maydh will always be known as Musa Carre Town. The Gadwayne are just a bunch of Johnny come lately's to Maydh.

I know some of his relatives, I shall ask them again.

Lol@claiming you don't separate Isaaq, You hypocrite, weren't you attacking me along with General Duufle in the Ceel Afweyn town thread, claiming Biciide
own it. Ma ada Biciide siinaya? Just because you're a langaab Uduruxmiin who can't be anything in Ceerigaabo district, doesn't mean the
mighty Sacad Yoonis can be sidelined.

For your information Gadhweyn settle in west of Maydh near Xiis at Ras Jilbo, the Sacad Yoonis Hassan Barkhad branch also settle in Harshow on the
east of Ceerigaabo district itself.

You resorted to personal attacks. You must be desperate. All I said is Ceelafweyne is a Biciide town. Just look at the results of last years local elections in Ceel Afweyne. Biciide won 13 of the 18 council seats in Ceel Afweyne. They won more than 72% of the seats. That gives them a massive majority.

BTW Biciide and Sacad Yoonis are called Habar Laman. Stop trying to divide Habar Laman.

How Is it a Biciide town if there was a green line inside the town dividing the neighborhoods? We all know what happened when some tried to take the mayor and
vice mayor together, it couldn't materialize. HJ scored 3 MPs in the entire Ceerigaabo district and the vice mayor went to Dhlos, especially your entire Uduruxmin
small clan scored 1 MP, do you know the Barkhad SY of Ceerigaabo alone produced 1 MP with Saalax Siciid Axmed Carraale. A district like that we can say it
belongs to Gadhweyn, SY , MC iyo wixi soo raca. There were more Sacad Yoonis voters in Ceelafweyn than the entire Habar Jeclo in Ceerigaabo district
in the local elections including your small Uduruxmiin plus Bah Sanbuur who live under the shadow of Musa Tuurwa and other Biciide. I haven't included other
SY voters in Xudun district, Las Canood, Garadag. Just some reality check.

Plus No one is dividing the communities of Ceel Afweyn other than your likes, it is you and that kid from Balidhiig that tried to spread propaganda
about one of the economically dominant community there.
