Gibraltar = Gibr altar = Jabl Al Tariq. He was called Al Tariq I think. That is one way I remember him. I think he was a former slave, freed from the administrator of Egypt or something, and his former master was pissed that his former slave could conquer a whole country, so nobody really knows what happened to him after he was called back to Egypt.

This whole story could be wrong, but I don't want to google and cheat.
