Allah says, "Say: 'If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious." (9:24)
Hadith #1
Narated By Anas : The Prophet said "None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children and all mankind."
Bukhari Volume 001, Book 002, Hadith Number 014.
Hadith #2
Narated By Anas : The Prophet said, "Whoever possesses the following three qualities will have the sweetness (delight) of faith:
1. The one to whom Allah and His Apostle becomes dearer than anything else.
2. Who loves a person and he loves him only for Allah's sake.
3. Who hates to revert to Atheism (disbelief) as he hates to be thrown into the fire."
Bukhari Volume 001, Book 002, Hadith Number 015.
I must love the Prophet Muhammad (saw) more than everyone, even myself.Narated By 'Abdullah bin Hisham : We were with the Prophet and he was holding the hand of 'Umar bin Al-Khattab. 'Umar said to Him, "O Allah's Apostle! You are dearer to me than everything except my own self." The Prophet said, "No, by Him in Whose Hand my soul is, (you will not have complete faith) till I am dearer to you than your own self." Then 'Umar said to him, "However, now, by Allah, you are dearer to me than my own self." The Prophet said, "Now, O 'Umar, (now you are a believer)."
Bukhari Volume 008, Book 078, Hadith Number 628.

Re: Do you love the prophet more than your parents?
OP,
We Muslims are commanded by Allah to obey, respect and love the messenger of Allah.
Love for the Prophet is a measure of our faith and inner conviction. Our faith is only completed and perfected when our love for the Prophet exceeds our love for anything in this world, including our own lives and the lives of anyone else. Allah says in the Qur'an "The Prophet is preferable for the believers even to their own selves"
The Prophet (scw) said "None of you will believe until I am more beloved to him than his children, his father and all people"
It is an established principle in our religion that our faith is as good as our love for the Prophet. Love of the Prophet breathes life into our daily practice of religion. Without it our religion is reduced to an empty adherence to a set of trivial rules and empty rituals. It's his existence and examples that shaped and completed who we are as an Ummah.
I don't love anyone on this world as much as I love him or try to follow his example. And I never will love another as much as I love him.

Allah>prophet>mother>father, I love the prophet my mom thinks I'm crazy cuz all I do is talk about the nebi, even when I was a young kid at 9 my dad brought a small kids book that was a bio of the prophet, I ended up crying when it was finished.

Re: Do you love the prophet more than your parents?
One must delve into the seerah to know who the Rasuul calayh salatu wasalam really was in order to truly love and admire him. When the people of Daa'if persecuted him and stoned our beloved away from the town, he was given the green light by the malaa'ikah to bring that down under complete destruction however what did he say? "Laa, fayumkin anallah yuwaliduuhum al duriya alatii yacbuduunallah waxdahu walaa yuskhrikuuna bihii shay'aa" I.e. Nay, do not destroy them, for it may be that Allah will beget them children who will worship Allah sincerely and not commit shirk. Indeed he was rauufun raxiim.
When you realise it the Rasuul who may intercede for you on Yoom qiyaamah and not your parents who will only worry for themselves. It is the Rasuul who will speak as your representative and it was through the rasuul that Allahs message was passed to you.
Wa salallaahuma wa sallim calayh wacalaa aalihii wasaxbihii ajmaciin.

Yes, I love our beloved Prophet more than my parents. If you have to ask such a question, I suggest to read and study his life. I'm offended for him

It's not good to ask these kinda questions, ofcourse we love the prophet and ofcourse we love our parents and it should end there, to do comparison on who u love more is not necessary akh.
