Re: Sleep
I sleep easily 8-12 hrs a day. I value sleep more than anything (except tahajjud)

Re: Sleep
haha Funny. The only people I'm nervous around are people that disgust me because I fear what I may say if I'm forced to be in the same space as they are in for too long.abakar20 wrote:You're showing the obvious symptoms of a hidden love fantasy you're going through. There's someone in real life that you've probably had much or little contact with and you're nervous about the next stage. Masquerading it all with tea and 'sciencey' action films (girls into this?) won't cut it for me. Like i said hun, the remedy of this problem is within you. Question your heart and you will see your answer.

How do you keep mentally alert?

Are you implying that I'm fat? lol I know exercise is important. I just hate sweating and exerting myself, that's why exercise is so difficult (lame, I know).

Re: Sleep
Cushetic, you know most high powered people got very sleep. napolean almost never got more than 3-4 hrs of sleep at night, but he would take power naps often. I think it was the same with Nabiga scw, slept very little but he took naps after duhr. Do you take naps in the day?

Re: Sleep
Anywhere from 6 to 8 hours. My eating habits dictate my sleeping pattern. Too hungry or too full and I will probably feel sleepy later in the day. Things like a routine, gym, not staying indoors too long, low sugar and caffeine intake, etc, usually help. I hate napping, I believe you should sleep once in 24 hours and be done with it. When something goes wrong in my said list, I end up with a fucked up sleep pattern which triggers my migraine.

Re: Sleep
I'm not implying that but research has shown that you won't get sleep if you don't stay physically active. Being sedentary is going to mak you unhealthy. So I'd advice you to start doing simple stuff like jogging, core workouts, etc so you can feel more refreshed after sleeping.CushiticReflections wrote:

I notice too many Somali females take for granted being skinny and then they get married and BAM! .. its not a good thing. It'll make you suffer with leg issues later on.

@Perfect_Order
No, I could never nap, not even as a small child. I'd just lie awake or sleep so long that I wouldn't be able to sleep at all at night. But it works for some people, I suppose. Weed won't do - I don't want to ever use substances unless I'm in a lot of physical pain or going to have surgery.
@AfroBro Didn't know there was such a thing as being too full to sleep. lol
@Fah lol I was kidding. I doubt I'll ever gain weight involuntarily. I'm 23 and still too skinny, despite my efforts to gain. But I am unhealthy, have issues with blood circulation, and have to release energy somehow.
I'm going to start jogging again this week inshaa Allah. Thanks for the advice.

Israelis made a weed that doesn't get you high.
Re: Sleep
Hope that all works out for ya, just a little advice before you start hitting any weight training, besure to start on a friday, that way if your off on the weekends, it gives you time to relax your overally sore muscles, I mean they will get extremely tight and very painful to maneuver to handle daily tasks, for at least a day or two, also, stack up on pain relievers for the first two weeks for over all body aches you might experience in the begining and good luckCushiticReflections wrote:@ RabshoolePerfect_Order wrote:I read somewhere that sleep issues are very particular to women. Best things is to sleep in complete darkness, dim the lights in your place hours before you actually go to sleep, watch what you eat before you sleep. Have you ever tried getting up every ten mins then laying backdown untill you fall asleep?
I've tried everything everyone suggested except exercising. I've finally accepted I need to exercise since trying to gain fat is futile, might as well gain some muscle mass and my weight might go up. Plus, I can barely move without getting exhausted, I'm pretty out of shape.

Pacific Rim was off the hook wasn't it. Would have been nice watching it with someone like you, passion for the movieCushiticReflections wrote:loool I'm pretty apathetic when it comes to love. You should have seen me in the theatres for Pacific Rim. I couldn't breath, the fight scenes were so amazing. I might have even shed a few tears of joy.abakar20 wrote:Jaceel aa ku haayo.
