For those who can't read, in a nutshell, the Information Minister states that Somali Airlines is scheduled to be relaunched with four planes within this yearIsniin, August 26, 2013 (HOL) — Dowladda Soomaaliya ayaa shaacisay inay heshay illaa afar diyaaradood oo ay ku howl-gelineyso shirkadii diyaaradaha Soomaaliyeed ee Somali Airline, kaddib muddo 22-sano ah, taasoo ku tegi doonta dalalka caalamka duulimaadyo kala duwan.
Wasiirka warfaafinta, boostada, isgaarsiinta iyo gaadiidka dowladda Somalia, C/llaahi Ciilmooge Xirsi ayaa sheegay inay rajo ka qabaan inay dib u howl-geliyaan shirkaddii Somali Airline ka hor inta aanu dhammaan sanadkan lagu jiro.
"Afar diyaaradood ayaa hadda ballan-qaad u haysanaa inaan ku howl-galino Somali Airline, waxaan rajeynayaa in sannadkan inta aanu dhammaan aanu howl-gelinno, sida qorshuhu yahay hadduu Alle idmo," ayuu yiri Ciilmooge.
Sidoo kale, wasiirku wuxuu sheegay in howlo kale ay socdaan, isla markaana ay qayb-qayb u soo celinayaan howlihii shirkaddii Somali Airline oo ay ka mid tahay in guryihii ay lahayd dadka shacabka ah ee deggen laga saaro si ay u dagaan shaqaalaha shirkadda.
"Howlo kale waa inoo socdaan, laakiin guud ahaan diyaarado waan helnay, duuliyeyaal Soomaaliyeedna waa la xiriirnay, qaar liiskooda waan helnay, rajo-weyn ayaa ka qabnaa in Soomaaliya mar kale aragto diyaaraddii uu ku yaallay calankeenna oo dunida ka shaqeynaysa ," ayuu wasiirku hadalkiisa ku daray.
Garoonka diyaaradaha Aadan Cadde ee Muqdisho ayaa muddo sannado ah howlgalaya, waxaana haatan lagu wareejiyay maamulkiisa shirkad dalka Turkiga laga leeyahay, taasoo casriyeynaysa garoonka.
Tan iyo markii uu dalku burburka galay ayaa waxaa shaqeynayay diyaarado ay leeyihiin shirkado madax-bannaan, kuwaasoo intooda badan ah kuwo aan tayo wanaagsan lahayn, waxaase dalka ka howl-billaabay shirkado caalami ah oo ay ka mid yihiin shirkadda diyaaradaha Turkish Arilines iyo shirkadda Air Uganda.

Re: Somali Minister Announces the Return of Somali Airlines
Nothing exciting. When you look at Djibouti which has been a functioning state for the last 30 odd years and still they call Daallo Airlines their national carrier. I don't expect Somalia's Airliner to be any better if not worse.
These moryaans only talk and when they act, they put some scrap metals together for the sake of getting people behind them. They don't care about no Somalia or Somali Airlines.
They will lease few old azz jets like Jubba, East African Airways...nothing to be excited about. Somalia's glory days are over and we won't be there for the next 20-30 years.
Good luck to the Airlines but I know they will disappoint millions.

Actually, from what I am hearing, the planes being provided will be decent. Nothing like the scrap metals that are in Somalia's skies now.

Kabriid,
Maha niyad jab lakin Somalia has not recovered yet so I am not going to expect too much from them. But the revival is great news even if they start with Antonov

Re: Somali Minister Announces the Return of Somali Airlines
Its true. I have little confidence in the current leadership and by that I am talking about the old fartz from the Barre era who are still controlling everything. We will turn the page soon guys. I have hope but I won't expect too much from the current leaders. I hope they prove me wrong and I want that for Somalia.
Lets pray for Somalia....please join Sheikh Erdogan with me.
