Will you always cry about the past and resent forever? Ninyo yesterday France, England and Germany were all in opposing trenches ready to exterminate one another. Today, they are holding hands together for common goals that will ensure the survival of each party. They know no one will win in isolation and forever calacaal.

Those are nations with a history of thousands of years and your talking about mere few nomads that happen to be fathered by one man.

I am not the one that resents the past. It came, it was not all rosy, it could have been better, we make mistakes...we fall, we pick yourselves up, dust off and try again.

The European countries fought each other in order to preserve and maintain their sovereignty. When they achieved that goal, their next move was to work together financially, militarily etc. so that they could prevent armed conflicts.

Our aim today as Somalilanders is to regain our sovereignty, only then can we work with the wanlaweyn, as two equal countries. I'll assure you that we won't repeat the mistakes of the 60's.

Secondly your terminology is wrong. Somalia is a reference to the Italian colony, we were never part of it and never will.

but I know what u mean. It's usually the diaspora that are whining however the ones in sl dont really care about ichtiraf as long as we stay away from koonfur and never join that hellhole.
