It'll be a Libya/Kosovo style no fly zone, less no fly zone more US acting as the rebel air force.
Assuming the Syrian rebels are as competent as the Libyan thuwar, Assad doesn't stand a chance. Syria may have Hezbollah and Iranian advisors, but Gaddafi had Serb/South American advisors, unlimited money and his own private army.

If Hezbollah continues to fight for Bashar, the war could possibly last several months.KabaToleWaalan wrote:How fast will the Syrian regime disintegrate after NATO attacks in the next coming weeks?

Those nato bastards could not find the serb millitary and out of frustration started bombing civilian infratructure, like all the bridges, power stations, water treatment plants, factories.KabaToleWaalan wrote:I've watched British military analyst and they predict a Serbian like ware fare ..remember Slobodan..they brought him to his knees...I assure you itl inflict heavy price on the regime..plus the amount of weapon deployed to the rebels since the chemical attack..besides Arab bastards are punjabis and the dictator will b fearful for his life..I can't I amagine hw many top people that will defect as soon as those tomahawks start pounding like a Farax on a Xalima...FAH1223 wrote:missiles dont do anything
The only avenue that the regime will have is hw much intelligence that the Russian espionage will provide them on regards to the intended targets
Milosovic gave up because those around him saw their country blasted to the stone age and forced him to surrender.
After the war it was discovered that serbian maskirovka skills were excellent,
Nato missed nearly all the tanks and armoured vehicles, even the serb airforce survived.
Nato was bombing plastic blow up tanks, that were given fake heat signatures using oil heaters used to keep homes warm.
Less than 10% of the serb military was affected.
and i love the way they brought down that stealth plane,
who knew that using 1940's technology combined with the processing power of a laptop, you can make a 1st generation stealth plane like the F117
light up like a christmas tree using a couple of TV antennas , provided that it was going through a valley at low altitude.

The US nor NATO will invade Syria. Most likely they going to carry out air strikes against Syrian interest but they won't dismantle the regime completely and the reason for that is two states; Turkey and Israel.
Turkey will be very nervous about a Syrian invasion because it could and it will spill over to its own territory such as millions of refugees, PKK taking advantage of the situation in the Kurdish regions, Kurds gaining upper hand in their region and declaring self rule or another autonomy...Syrian army attacking Turkey.
The international community will also see this war as an Israeli interest and many NATO members want to remain neutral in the Arab-Israeli issues. This is not Libya nor Iraq.
It will also spill over to Lebanon and eventually to Israel.
Can Israel afford to fight in destabilize Lebanon taken over by many militant anti-Israeli groups? Can they fight failed Syria state with many warlords, Islamists, anti-Israeli groups?
It is easier to attack regimes than dozens of unknown militant groups, Hezbollah and co. Al Qaeda and co.
Finally the West will be very suspicious of Turkey because if they takeout Al Assad, there is great chance that Turkey will go in and occupy Kurdish regions. The West can't afford Turkey occupying Syria...a new Somalia occupied by Ethiopia.
So boys, the war will not happen until Syrian oppositions are strong enough and capable of teaming up with the West, Turkey and Israel to ensure all those concerns don't happen.
The FSA right now is almost none existent. West will not do suicide mission in Syria. Don't forget Iran too.

Let's say regime falls, then you have power vacuum fought over by several weaker parties (FSA, AQ, Regime remnants/loyalists)
