I've had some good and bad feelings really, the good feelings was that i was back home where i saw my people, rented a landcruiser and drove from Jigjiga to Babile, Harar and then Dire dawa, i saw alot of history while on the trip. The bad news is that how the people live, lack of education and jobs, security and jails.

My cousin told me once a story about and Amhara general asking Meles Zenawi why he is so kind to the somalis and letting them having businesses in Addis ababa and Meles responded to him ''Listen, Somalis are the reason for how good our economy is now, somalis are good at business and got way more money than amharas, Somalis rent houses in Addis ababa and pays more than an amhara would never do and we don't know how or where they get their money from.'' that was the response to the amhara general and he kept quiet.
In Ethiopia back in haile sellasie and mengistu the kilil 5 region was known as ''Ogaden region'' and when it got changed the amharas didn't like it since they don't want to associate the region with Somalia and tried many times talking to melez about it telling him to change the name to Ogaden, they see ogadens as part of Ethiopia and that they are the owners of the whole region and that the name should be Ogaden such as Oromia, Afar region, Tigray region, Amhara region.
