How come Somali youth are indoctrinated into Adoon culture? I thought, at least--from the basic point of reference that we are Somalis, we Have Culture, we have Somali Malls and Community, that will deter Malis from Alcoholism, gangsta, prison, etc etc etc typical adoon path way. I mean, why don't the White trash--who are the same Socio-Economic as the Adoons and Malis--why don't they have some resonance of dignity. (meaning, they dont have gangsta colony, tucked in their trailer trash homes with a good family unit of mom and dad and many children who shop lift but never get caught)

Seriously-? Is the possibility that adoon -ness is a lifestyle and not a Sinjiii? This realization with shudder the nobleness of Somaliniimo!

From personal experience I can tell you that people who speak the loudest and advocate for Somali culture often are the ones who know least about it. If I had a penny every time I saw a Somali who hardly speaks Af-Soomaali advocate for Somali culture I would be filthy rich.

I look down on African Americans & don't mingle with them least of which emulate their horrid English & style!! Wow. You obviously have limited knowledge of American history. White America has ALWAYS had higher rates of drug abuse, incarceration, and poverty. The segregationists wanted to colorize these issues and scapegoat African Americans as the only ones having these issues.

Why are both cocaine and crack fundamentally the same, chemically, but one is associate with status and the other with urban poverty? Because blacks are associate with crack while whites are associated with cocaine.

Why is a white man with a criminal record more likely to receive callbacks for a job than an AA man WITHOUT a criminal record?

Because even the white criminal is more trust worthy then your average run of the mill black... At my work place the blacks tend to get by with the least amount of work...While whites & others either do their share or work extra hard. If it weren't for racial quotas most of the "blacks" would be let go with exception to foreign "blacks" who have better work ethics! No one wants to call out the elephant in the room & it isn't "simply just racsim" but goes deeper then that!
