The director of the interior ministry who is visiting now baladweyne has stated that the govt will not appoint a new governor for the region it will rather facilitate the process

The somali president has acknowledged the local initiative during a meeting with the local elders in his second visit to baladweyne

Preparations have begun in the town to assemble a new council called golaha deegaanka wich will distribute the power sharing between reer hiiraan also will elect the next governor

Sahal, I don't know why some people complain about Laqanyo. I know Reer Hiiraan with their ego are angry about the harmless fact that the governor was named by the government but to me, it doesn't make a difference. Anyways, if Laqanyo runs for elections, I would be more than glad to see him return

If not Laqanyo, then the post of governor should at least rotate to from the Dige to the rest of Hawaadle at least. Theres a Cali Madaxweyne governor and a Ibrahim Ciise minister
