there is actully 2 branches of Ajuran

Post by Casanova25 »

According to those in somalia there abtirsi goes into samaale thru Ibrahim bal'cadde Via Xaskul and then to samaale and then you got those in kenya WHO there abtirsi goes thru Ibrahim bal'cadde via xamar samaale into a fictional abi talib..

but there abtirsi are correct without the abi talib..

the other branches abtirsi goes thru Garjele Xaskul Hawiye.. there is Ibrahim Bal'cadde aswell...

I'm confused.. Kenyan branch are minority compared to the once from somalia and i have to add them to the list aswell..

according to the British Clan researches in 1890-1940 they have added both Groups in under Ajuuraan tribe..

this letter is from a ajuran to other ajuraans talking about abtirsi..
Hello All.

This forum has intensified our clan patriotism and the future looks bright. The minds of the cream of the clan are hard at work and fruits will be realized sooner than later.

But let me introduce a refreshing “diversion”.

How well do we know our genealogy? I am sure the subject may not hold a lot of significant in today’s individualistic world but can offer a refreshing pastime and aah surprise.

For instance, do the Ajuran belong to the Hawiye and thereby Irir group? How come most Ajuran trace their lineage to Samaal (father of Somalis) through Haskul? Which is the lineage of Ibrahim Balcadde who sired Ajuran prosterity with Fadumo Jambelle?

I am sure these are hard nuts to crack. However, there are possibilities that an authority in terms of a person or paper (read documents) may be available. But we are in information age and a lot of materials can be accessed on the internet. One such site is http://www.abtirsi.com

I am attaching organized materials from this and other site for your quick reference. As you will from the above internet site, this information needs corroboration and verification in order for the future generation to know its history with a measure of certainty.

Sorry for the deviation. Thanks.

The book also states that the Ajuran were adopted by the Boran, and once the Boran got weak, the Ajuran dropped their links to them and remembered their Hawiyye-ness. Sounds all too stupid. It even had this diagram.

A better question should be, why were Hawiyya stagnant, just living on their Hiraab lands, while the Ogadens were expanding south/south-east?

No, they are Tana Oromo and were forced somewhere south-west of the river Tana by both the Boran and Ogaden.

Casanova, the Hawiyya never mounted an expansion force to take over all the land like the Ogaden. Why?

there were never Ogaden Boran alliance but garre-ajuran-boran alliance.. they were the Hunters and ogaden found the left overs.

H-Expansion NFD.. and karanle is almost into amarah lands..

Warra Daaya are not dir or Somali... they are Oromo those from laka tana which is the true homeland of the oromos before the oromo expansion..

What's H-Expansion? Hawiyyeh? All the Hawiyya found in the NFD are there because they were allied with the Boran and Ogaden when they were exterminating the WaraaDaaya.

They are not somalis those from warra daaya.. they are the roots of oromo from the Heart land of oromos..

So what are you trying to say that Ogaden showed mercy towards hawiye??? :notsure:

there was never alliance between borana and Ogaden... if Ogaden came to that area they would have hunted him aswell.. We call that place the wilderness today the Degodia and Garre are running those areas.. sometimes killing each other
