Most Rap/Hip Hop artists do not even play an instrument (no talent) as the synthesizer creates a beat. 2. Rap is defined as talking not singing (most consider singing not talking integral to music). 3. Rap/Hip Hop's simplistic and childlike rhymes that can be written by any baffoon with a 4th grade education (or less) represents the dumbing down of music as we know it; there is NOTHING complex about it period. I opposed these things in any little way I could, because once it was clear to me that rap wasn't going to be some stupid pop fad that disappeared overnight, I could see the attitude and outlook, the talk and the dress, of an entire generation of my racial Somali kin would be negrified.
