The four madhabs are Hanafi, Maliki, Hanbali and Shafici.
I know that Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal was Imam Al Shafici's student and Imam Al Shafici was a student of Imam Malik Ibn Anas. Laakiin I don't know who taught Malik Ibn Anas and Imam Abu Hanifa, I'll let someone else answer that.

Who are the four scholars who pioneered schools of thoughts that have survived ? Also, given they shared knowledge among each other, outline who studied under who.
Imam Malik, Imam Shafi'i, Imam Abu Hanifah, and Imam Ahmed ibn Hanbal

Imam Shafi'i studied under Imam Malik for 9 years.

The other thing I was looking for was that Abu Haneefa studied with Imaam Malik too.
