Heartbreaking

With all the political dramas happening in Somalia today, this picture of this youngster is what brought tears to my eyes. I don't get emotional but seeing the agony in the eyes of this boy was unbearable. He is the son of the latest journalist killed in Muqdisho few weeks ago by the Alsheydaan criminals; Timocade. The young boy is scared, unsure of this world, hopeless, and doesn't really understand why anyone would hurt his dad. Would few donated dollars replace the love of his dad?

My dream is to open an orphanage in Somalia. I ask allah gives me the means to support at least one orphanage. Imagine seeing a kid in a poor state without parents and zero family and relatives to care of him and you take him with you. 20 years down line the he becomes a bright man that's independent ready for work or further education and marriage? I would feel a great sense of achievement. Even if I cant open an orphanage I will adopt a child. Islamicly this is rewarding as well. This kid still has his mother I assume. Somalida when a child's both parents die he goes off and lives with his uncles or aunties or granparents. Of course somehow some children end up on the streets and we are somehow responsible for those I believe.
