Australia has to perform strongly in this Ashes series considering the ass whopping they got in that last Ashes. As for England, Cook is anchoring a failing ship & Peterson has lost his touch. I suspect Ian Bell will rebound strongly in the next inning or coming matches. The English bowling is solid. They just need to bolster their middle order & start building solid partnerships. Cook is playing his 100th Test & that too as a captain & considering his much deserved half century in the first inning, I won't be surprised if he plays a classic captain's knock & saves this Test.

Test Cricket is what really matters & the reason why some ODI & T20 playing nations are not allowed to play. It's the top of the cream. One day cricket is fun but T20 is just a circus stuff. It does not deserveto be recognized as legitimate cricket at all.

horta why this topic in politics section.

test matches are boring because no one want to wait 7-8 hours just for one or two wickets and few boundaries.
