We don't see other Somali towns protesting over water shortages. Besides that don't turn this thread into a competitive discussion. It's about Hargeysa not other towns. What should the Somaliland government do about this? Talk about something resourceful!

Doesn't Hargeysa have motor wells and water pipes ? Waa maxay booyadaha la sheegaayo ?

30% of the town does, however the remaining 70% depends on water tank distribution.

• Hargeisa town water supply
The Hargeisa Water Authority supplies around 9000 cubic metres of water to Hargeisa per day. This means that some 70% of the residents have piped water, with each person receiving 18 litres per day. The remaining 30% of the residents receive water from water tankers, which draw water from shallow wells.
