Sharif Sakiin and the Bay regional government after seeing the reality have both realized the risk and war that will ensue if they include 6 regions in the Baydhabo conference.

In this audio from yesterday Sharif Sakiin says "the majority of Digil and Mirifle intellectuals gathered and elders realize that Jubbaland of those three regions is a reality which cannot be taken back...they have military and political power there and the state as a future federal state is recognized by the Somali government, international community, and especially the neighboring countries....we can control and receive recognition for our three regions of Bay, Bakool, and Lower Shabelle"

He also alleges "we have reached an agreement with Ethiopia to be the AMISOM to be based from Waajid to Lower Shabelle and support the stabilization of our state and soon they will drive all the way there"

Failed thread. Shf.Sakiin himself have no say and was kicked out of bay & they are still holding those meetings but the posters were old recordings uploaded to youtube 26 dec. but recorded before that.

At the moment Al Shabaab controls most of S.Hoose....what little is left is in turmoil...between moryaan & the locals.
If the Ethiopians are onboard, and there is every indication they are, they will easily rout Al Shabaab in weeks not months.

The new SW state forces will be riding piggyback upon the Ethiopian tanks, filling the vacuum left by fleeing Shabaab.
The Biyomaal will no doubt support joining SW State, as opposed to a hagite dominated Banaadir state.
This will set the stage for J/Land markII, Hassan withholding recognition & arming moryaan.


The combined population of the new SW State will outnumber the hagites in the region by 100-1.
With these kind of numbers the game will be up for the hagite in a blink of an eye.

I don't think its important to discuss the 6 region ambition. In Somalia qabil works, and this 6 region ambition is from one clan. It needs support of all clans in order for it to work. And no clan wants a 6 region state apart from Digil & Mirifle. So let them be.

Do you think Rahanweyne and Dir are completely brain-dead? Creating a Mogadishu boogey man isn't going to make them want to claim their own lands any less. You're trying to make Banaadir State seem like the antithesis to humanity while Jubaland as some oasis of paradise. They can view Mogadishu as their enemy if they want but they certainly view you as their enemy since you reside in their land. If only they cared about HAG and other constructs of the Darood imagination They are coming for Jubaland and they won't stop till they get it.
