Burundian: Somalia is important to us
Apparently the first 10 Burundian pilots were trained in Somalia. Interesting.

Re: Burundian: Somalia is important to us
He looks Tutsi or at least half Tutsi which means he probably has significant cushitic blood. All these South of the horn east African tribes from Kenya all the way to Tanzania and Rwanda have tons of Cushitic blood. Samburu, Maasai and Tutsis have the highest Cushitic blood on average (50-65%).
Non horner East Africans are generally a mix of Nilotic, Bantu, Cushitic and some native Khoi-san like (very divergent) hunter gatherer stuff (most prominent in groups like the native Hadza hunter gatherers of Tanzania).
This usually varies in between the ethnic groups. Luhya for example even though they live in Kenya have very little Cushitic blood (~7-10%) on the other hand the Hema pastoralists (hint, hint, hint) of Uganda/Rwanda/Congo are like 30% Cushitic so depending from 1 ethnic group to another the admixture varies. Usually it has more to do with the ethnic group's way of life, pastoralists and agro-pastoralists tend to be more nilo-Cushitic while farming ones more Niger-Kordofanian (Bantu).
