Wakhti lumis...

How hard is it to prove that there aren't any documents from July 1, 1960 legalizing or even proving the union in the first place. Legally speaking there was no union.

The 1961 referendum was voted no by the Somalilanders but they were powerless because of fraudulence and unfair amount of parliamentary seats.

There's absolutely nothing to talk about and fuck the "iskaashi".

There are no documents proving or legalizing the union. If I was there I would debunk and disprove all claims coming from Somalia, then I would prove our case (backed by historical facts) and then say gentleman ina kala kexeeya.

How hard is that? We don't need "iskaashi" and cooperation. It's nonsense and the talks are useless for Somaliland.

I can't disproof it since i don't have the info but don't you think if it that was true that in the 20+ years you have been seeking secession at least 1 of your leaders would of came up with that idea especially Silanyo and other SNM veterans

Any Qiyaano Deal with the Maamulka will add more fuel to the fire. By Allah we will never accept such deal, not in this world for sure.

They're stupid thats why. It seems like they cant even counter the argument regarding the 1961 referendum in which the southern MP's decided that Somaliland under no circumstances can withdraw from the union despite our people voting against it but then again the referendum is nullified by the the fact that there was no legal agreement between Somaliland and Somalia hence nothing binding our nation to your referendum or country.

Cigaal was trying to push his own political career. He was an opportunist. The delegation from Somaliland spearheaded by Cigaal in 1960 were thrown under the Bus by no other than Cigaal himself, however military officers from Somaliland that knew about the deceit and the betrayal of southern MP's as well as the mistakes made by delegation, planned a coup in which we would regain our sovereignty, unfortunately it failed because someone snitched to the government in Mogadishu.
