My uncle counted 650 elephants from atop a helicopter in the late 70s somewhere in the Jubbas. Nowadays, I very much doubt that you could find 100 elephant carcasses there.

Sad. The big cats are some of my favorite animals specially the Leopards (shabeel) who I think are pretty much extinct now.
