Abgaal have been living in Mogadishu since the 13th century and were always the majority since they drove the Ajuuraan empire out. You're misinformed. Even in the kacaan era as which is clearly what is tainting your mind they made up the majority of residents and owned the most homes. Have you never heard of having an Abgaal neighbour? It was a common thing before/after the Kacaan era to have an Abgaal neighbour in Mogadishu because they were the majority.

What about the businesses and houses that Hawiye people owned in what is now Puntland and Jubbaland before the war?
