AbdiJohnson-
You will ever hear the Iidoor kids label those areas Hawd. I have read enough literature to know that was what was known as the Reserved Area. Primarily the Isaaq lived in what is known as the Reserved.
Hawd is from Buuhoodle at its northern tip to Cabudwaaq at it's southern priphery. Primarily the center of this is Wardheer Region and it was a Darood meeting point. Places like Dollo, Wardheer, Bookh, Wardheer, Galaadi, etc. The only Isaaq who extend to Hawd are Habar Ypnis. I have even posted modern Ethiopian government website document about it.it is in the arvhives somewhere. Hawd is overwhelmingly Darood especially Dhulbahante, Majeerteen, Mareexaan, and Ogaadeen.

Now these people want to claim Hawd.
Hawd, in the strictest sense, is the southern border of SL with Ethiopia. An area that belongs to SL and inshallah will be reunited.

Where did you get this fake map you little boon bastard? The`Republic wrote:This is a modern Ethiopia state map
marexaan has nothing at all with hawd, there are lots of districts under the majeerten name which is under ogaden, boons are langaabs and has no right to even discouss about kililka shanaad, you have no history what so ever in kilil 5 unless your counting in that boon who was a ''sultan'' of harar but got his ass kicked out of the town by harmless oromos then died of tuberculosis right after.

The little Isaaq faggot is still pretending to be Ogaden. I have never responded to you, but you're blocked bitch with your dense brain the size of beetle dung.

Isaaq traditionally and even now have nothing to do with the Hawd. Only when things get really tough in their traditional grazing zone does one group see a little bit of Hawd during drought season in Waqooyi. The small tiny piece of land Isaaq settle right under Somaliland was always called the Reserved (a British protected area under original British Somaliland the British signed to Ethiopia but with conditions---namely that the colonial Isaaq subjects would be protected---hence "Reserved").
The heart of Hawd has always been Wardheer and today primarily two clans dominate....Majeerteen (rer Bicidyahan, rer Maxamuud, rer Khalaf of Cumar Maxmuud, etc) and Dhulbahante. Two other clans who were principal before come second Ogaadeen and Mareexaan. There is a tertiary group who come in when droughts really affect them badly and they are allowed to graze for survival at times....Habar Yonis and Habar Gidir.
Don't argue with me about basic facts.
REMEMBER:
Before this forum, many of the Isaaq kids thought they wrote the Somali language, designed the Somali flag, came up with Somalia's national anthem, blah blah blah. You guys have undergone a lot of false learning in your family living rooms.

Are you referring to the isaaq clan boundaries in this map?LiquidHYDROGEN wrote:Now these people want to claim Hawd.![]()

Re: what area does the hawd include?
Haud (or Hawd) is a region of thorn-bush and grasslands in the Horn of Africa.
"The northern and eastern tips lie within the Somali Republic, while the western and southern portions (the later merging with the Ogaden plateau) form part of the Harari Province of Ethiopia.
According to the map in John Spencer, Ethiopia at Bay: A personal account of the Haile Selassie years (Algonac: Reference Publications, 1984), pp. 186f, the Haud covered an area adjacent to British Somaliland south of 9° latitude and covering the modern woredas of Aware, Misraq Gashamo, Danot and Boh.
