To all that who oppose SNA, i advice to them to Participate or shut the hell up, the days of tribal fueled criticism is over!

In all fairness, just say what you want, soon SNA will have a heavily guarded outpost in every region including your region imposing an curfew to the unruly folks of Somalis  ,.....I hope you heed the example set by the N50 by not instigating any trouble!

Terrorists and dissents are not tolerated
The so called, SNA are the biggest terrorist, one minute having military uniform and terrorising the smaller clan and the next minute selling their weapons to Al-Shabab. He who maintains order can make a curfew, not undisciplined, corrupt and mafia-mooryans.
ur right mate but the sna have been producing terrorism and mooryanism well before 1991 and this u cant deny

What people don't realise is that Amisom and the arms embargo go hand in hand.
There cannot be one without the other......so you can forget about a strong and effective SNA.

As long as Somali's are distrustful and divided, there will be no progress towards full sovereignty.

Not donations. Govt has bought new weapons from abroad, the country they made with the weapon transactions is confidential though.
I know in the partial lift it said that they wont receive helicopters/fighter jets heavy weapons like artillery tanks but if you mean small arms then even with the arms embargo they had no problem in acquiring it .

What i want to know is that -the Djiboutian donation have they bought military vehicles like the South African Casspir which Amisom uses :?:
Bullshit!
Its all about " surface-to-air missiles". It doesn't include small tanks, heavy guns, jip and so this was stated by the war minister.

Here is the original text of the security council and it doesn't mention so. Helicopters are not heavy weapons, they are for transportation and security this is not my opinion though I was told this by a security officer. Wait the proof as soon the somali president will receive two helicopters from the UAE.
"On the arms embargo, originally imposed in 1992, the Council decided that it would not apply to arms or equipment sold or supplied solely for the development of the Government’s security forces, but it kept its restrictions in place on heavy weapons, such as surface-to-air missiles."

What's the point discussing aid when we know there is widespread corruption.
If the soldiers salaries and equipment are currently being misappropriated....what guarantees are there that the aid will reach the SNA?

Sahal this embargo has only allowed small arms we were receiving "illegally" now legally. They can't even buy night vision goggles/scope :wow:

The Security Council resolution would allow sales of such weapons as automatic assault rifles and rocket-propelled grenades but leaves in place a ban on surface-to-air missiles, large-caliber guns, howitzers, cannons and mortars as well as anti-tank guided weapons, mines and night vision weapon sights
