Men who were true their covenant
Sh C/Qaadir Mumin and Sh Fuad Shangole left their homes in London and Stockholm respectively, so that the word of God could be put up high. These men knew there were people who wanted sabotaged the Islamic awakening in the peninsula, specifically mooryans putting a cimaamad on and the tribalists, like what happened to Ittihad.
They didn't want leadership or power, they only wanted the best for their people.
A lot of people in the leadership flipped to the gov't side during Sh Sharif's takeover due to clannism, but these men even though being Reer Mugadisho, stayed true to Allah's word.
While most Somali scholars chose to sit on the sidelines being scared of being wrong, they chose to stand up for the truth.
These men shall forever be remembered in history for the work they did for the Somalis.
Ps I don't support individuals or organisations, I only support the truth.

Re: Men who were true their covenant
I was an ICU supporter, I think every Somali was. However after the Abdullahi Yusuf/Ethiopia genocide and the fighting was done there was a choice to be made. The options were;
1. Negotiation and Peace
2. Continued war and death
Sh.Shariif with the help of Nuur Cade helped us move forward. Xassan Dahir, Ceyroow and all these people you are talking about should have realised when to quit. Even the prophet (saw) had treaties with non believers.

Re: Men who were true their covenant
Yes I do know the people of Mugadisho have suffered the most for the past 25 years and majority of them want peace, and that Ceyrow rh and co are few in numbers. But this isn't about what Reer Mugadisho want or what even Somalis want, this is about what Allah wants.
What if Sh Hassan Barsane rh said "my brothers in Mugadisho want peace with the Italians, so I'll make peace", nay, Allah would've brought another man to guide the Biyomaal Mujahideen rh, and the same for the Darawiish rh.
Again this isn't about peace and prosperity of Mugadisho, this is about Islam and Kufr, and in war there are a lot of casualties.
Ps I don't support and individuals or organisations(Shabab) or follow their ideologies, I just follow the truth.

So you don't support Sh Hassan Barsan rh, Sayyidka rh or Ahmed Gurey rh, but you can support the Bantu raping your mother and sister with his mooryaan slave high on qaad.IRONm@N wrote:What covenant spilling the blood of Muslim, somali women and children all over Somalia?
Everyone of these died in the fight against those who transgressed against us.

I wonder how the mind of an extremist functions. A brain completely inept of any rationale is too abstract of a concept for me to decipher.
JamalAddow, what's your favourite flavour of ice cream?

who said anything about Sayidka and Ahmed Gurey? sayid and ahmed gurey were nationalist heroes who went head to head with enemies that were trying to colonize Somalia, they never sent children to blow themselves up in hotels, restuarants and schools full of Muslim people.JamalAddow wrote:So you don't support Sh Hassan Barsan rh, Sayyidka rh or Ahmed Gurey rh, but you can support the Bantu raping your mother and sister with his mooryaan slave high on qaad.IRONm@N wrote:What covenant spilling the blood of Muslim, somali women and children all over Somalia?

Re: Men who were true their covenant
Abaayo how can we make peace when half of Somali lands are being occupied, Mandera, Qelafo, Jigjiga, Garissa, Kismayo, Mugadisho and many more.Jasmine6 wrote:You skipped over the part about treaties
The Jews after two thousand years after being kicked out of Palestine have the audacity to claim it, while we were under occupation for a 100 years but not one word from any of us. Foreign occupation, Somali leaders selling their people for meagre gains while our mothers and sisters starve in IDP camps.
This is beyond shame.

Re: Men who were true their covenant
These men were called terrorists and madmen by the people of their time, the Marehan were fought against to force them to join the conquest with Ahmed Gurey, and at the end it was a Marehan leader after Gurey rh. Same with Sayidka rh.IRONm@N wrote:who said anything about Sayidka and Ahmed Gurey? sayid and ahmed gurey were nationalist heroes who went head to head with enemies that were trying to colonize Somalia, they never sent children to blow themselves up in hotels, restuarants and schools full of Muslim people.
And the morale of the story is, it doesn't matter what people call you, because there'll always be people who hates you. I don't support Shabab, explosions in markets or any of the other stuff they imported from Arabia, but the fight against the occupiers must go on.

Looks like you're not giving me access into the narrow confines of your mind. It's only for research purposes. What's your favourite ice cream flavour? I want to know if your mental frame work extends to those things.
