The women of Djibouti...beautiful and wise

Post by Suleiman117 »

Salutations, sisters and brothers. My name is Suleiman. I was born in the Republic of Haiti and raised in Massachusetts. Now I live in Ontario, Canada, while attending university. When I was new to Canada, one of the first people I met was this beautiful, intelligent sister named Fatouma Alwan. This woman was wise beyond her years, and became my friend and confidante in the tricky, often racist world of Ottawa, the Capital of Canada. For if you are a black man in this city, even if you have an American college degree and U.S. citizenship, they treat you poorly. Canadians are more racist than Americans, they're just better at hiding it. As I looked for work, I often got discouraged and Fatouma was the person encouraging me. Now I am gainfully employed, have my own place, and will soon earn a Law degree from a local university. I am doing well in Canada. Sadly, Fatouma has disappeared from Facebook and I can't get in touch with her. Her old phone no longer works. This is the woman who taught me about the beautiful religion of Islam, about great black Muslim men like Sundiata Keita, King of Mali, and Leo Africanus. If God would grant me a woman of her caliber as wife, I would be so happy. Let me take advantage of this opportunity to praise the women of Djibouti for their beauty, their intelligence and their kindness.

Fatouma is in her thirties, speaks french and english, doesn't wear hijab. She has a Netlog account but doesn't use it anymore. Goes by the name F. Ibrahim at times. A God-fearing woman who is a wonderful friend to anyone who needs her help. I was lost my first few months as a black man in racist Ottawa. Fatouma was my light in the darkness.

How is Ottawa racist? You seem like a troll. In my entire life here, I haven't experienced one racist incident.

You said you're Haitian. Why don't you go downtown and take a look at the thousands of your fellow Haitians during rush hour who are all employed by the federal govt? Haitians have been the most successful people here. You are second to the whites. If not the parents, the kids are. I would never expect a Haitian saying Ottawa is racist and doesn't give any opportunity. The Haitians have been pampered just because they are francophones. You have benefitted the most when it comes to affirmative action. You took ovet the quotas. A lot of the other immigrants who had a much longer history in the city than the Haitians had to leave the city while new Haitians were prospering. The only ones who stayed were Haitians.

The Governor General was Haitian. You see how Ottawa was good to you Haitians. A Somali, Arab, Indian, Portuguese, etc will never become Governor General. You people came in 2000 and are the most represented non whites in politics.

Haitians who came in 2005 from Port Au Prince will be retirig with full pensions at age 55.

That's because you believe yourself to be white, and don't own a mirror.

Clearly you don't understand the difference between systemic racism and individual racism. I've experienced both as a black man walking through the Capital. The cold stares, the snide remarks, I realize that in Canada, every minority apparently signed a contract where they'll pretend racism doesn't exist so white people can feel good about themselves....but I wasn't there to sign it. I respect all people regardless of race, gender or religion. I won't pretend NOT to be offended when some white male professor refers to Natives as 'savages' and to minorities, Somalis included, as the 'bane of Canadian existence'. Walk a mile in my shoes before you jump around making assumptions. Please.

Go to London, Stockholm, Berlin and Copenhagen to see what racism is. Racist MPs and political parties exist there. They have political representation. There are race/anti immigrant riots. You think a racist political party here will get even half a percent of the popular vote here? Racism here is almost non existent. Its shameful to talk about race. Don't lie about my city and my country. Go back to Massachusetts or Haiti. You are in a country where immigration is encouraged. Cultures and different beliefs are accepted. Multiculturalism is protected in the constitution. Don't bring your black power drivel over here

I guarantee you 95% of non whites here will tel you they didn't face any racism. A lot of people are reserved here. Maybe you were up in their business and they got annoyed and you screamed racism.

what assumptions? You are part of the race card crew. You pulled out the race card in Ottawa of all places.

I love when people who haven't walked in my shoes tell me how I should feel about that which I've experienced. That's patronizing and disrespectful. As for Europe, let the white man have it. It's his continent. North America is like an empty house whose owners got murdered by the persons currently inhabiting it...NOBODY has right of ownership over it...it's a dead man's land....anyone strong enough to take it SHOULD take it since the rightful owner ( the Indians ) got killed by the ones currently ruling the place ( Europeans ). If a Native person told me to get out of Canada, I'd actually give it a second thought. If a white man tells me to get out of "his country", I remind him that the Indian man was here first and he stole it.

Listen you focking hatian turd. if you knew anything about Somalis you wouldn't have made this topic of insult, not to mention naming the person you suppose to be looking for. Do you thinl she will take kindly to your post and naming her on a genneral forum?

I don't know about your culture (if you have) but when it comes to ours we are very sensitive and protective towards them. especialy when it comes primates like you.
So the best thing for you to do is to do your search little bit more discreetly and stop naming the woman you stupid baboon.

Its focking embarrassing to be associated with your kind.

Haters gonna hate...I follow my faith and I like who I like. I don't apologize for being me. If a Somali Muslim woman wants to be with a Haitian man who is Muslim, according to the Prophet's words, there is no problem. LEARN a thing or two before opening your mouths. Peace be upon you.

Suleiman, if you really are a Haitian in Ottawa you should know that your people are :eat: in this city. Go to uOttawa and you'll see that all the jobs are filled by Haitians who can't speak a lick of English. The Haitian kids there don't even bother studying and spend their days twerking in the uni centre cause they know they have a government job waiting for them. Fukk y'all niggas

Jealousy is a sin, brother. Cleanse yourself of it through prayer and humility. And remove that stick from your bottom. Peace.
