The natural resources of Somaliland belongs to Somaliland period. Since there's no proper institutions that can manage the natural resources
of Somaliland wether its gas, oil or minerals the extraction should be postponed until we have established proper institutions.

Somaliland doesn't need sub clan bullshit. It needs resource nationalism.

It has everything to do with sub clan as land is owned by clans in Somaliland not the state. Personally as a SY we have warned Axmed Langaadhe he will get two
bullets between his eyes if he tries to extract oil from SY lands without their permission.

Beesha Yoonis Ismaaciil Oo Xukumada Siilanyo Iyo Shirkadaha Shidaalka Baadhaya Uga Digtay Inaaney Masuul Ka Noon Doonin Wixii Dhibaato Ee Ku Yimaada

You may want to re-read my post. Somaliland doesn't need sub clan bullshit only resource nationalism and I clearly pointed out that the extraction should be postponed until we establish proper institutions given the fact that ignorant people will use the exploration for divisive politics.

The land falls under the state as in any other civilized society and there's also something called public land or public domain that doesn't belong to anyone but it's managed by the local administrations in the different regions of SL. Every inch of Somaliland doesn't belong to a clan, waxaasi waa riwaayada ay dadka qaar isugu sheekeeyaan. I've met individuals oo buuraaha oota oo welibana yidhaahda anigaa iska leh and that's pure nonsense.

In a ideal Somaliland yes but not now. Sub clan authority pops up because nobody apart from his close circle trusts crook Siilaanyo. So in that regard
all sub clans are justified in looking after the resources of their lands.

Justified in the sense that they have the right to look after their interests as citizens living in those regions. Those interests could be local employement, community involvement in those projects, ensuring environmental sustainability, the profit being reinvested in the local economy etc. but it should never be about clan or sub clan because that goes against Somaliland as a nation.

They have the right to distrust Siilaanyo. It's their democratic right as citizens.
