@Sophisicate, what do you mean more forward thinking, if you were wouldn't you utilize a port ? Every city has a university, if you haven't noticed Puntland state is the top uni in Somali lands. Why are you so hostile ? I'm not making fun of your clan, actually this thread is more so for others.
My clan are leaders in all fields. Calm down then reply back.
I'm calm so allow me to school you - young fish and chip.

(1) Zeylac was abandoned as a port shortly after the inception of the Djiboutian-Abyssinian Railway in the late 1880s, which was built by the French.
(2) Berbera port gained via financial assistance amounting to nearly 100 Million from the Former Soviet Union in the 1960s, and subsequently in the 80s by the Americans.
(3) Bossaso received financial assistance from the Italians to build their port in the mid-80s to placate the people.
(4) Mogadishu received World Bank funds in the 70s to construct its port.

It appears nothing these fellows have has been done on their own. Your fallacious ideas of self-reliance and development have been challenged.
:stylin:

Actually Bossaso was created by north Somalis solely unlike kisaamyo (usa) berbera (soviet union) mogadishu (italia).
1800s and over 130 years later with the supposedly thousands of gadabursi PHD holders it couldn't be reignited.
I never argued Somalis weren't a self relent people nor is Israel they receive highest funds from America and Xabashas in whole of Africa.
You've already accepted your 2nd class status with your :sland: , you probably don't have brains , at least lobby for awdal state.

Nevertheless i don't have beef with your tol quite the opposite actually, the thread were others and there too ashamed to contribute self reflections.

Boy, its not healthy being so paranoid, i also ain't got time for your unwarranted revisionist history.

@ S no focus on Awdal 'state' !

All in all lack of development of certain clans and gobols is due to lack of education, tribalism and psychological problems.
Now for the solutions ?
