The social construct of modesty in Somali culture

I've been very perplexed by this thought of mine which I thought I might share and get some of your opinions, particularly the girls. By modesty, I refer to sexual modesty and staying chaste until marriage but I what fail to under is this:

A girl must not entertain a guy's attention, lest she be immodest and impure.

A girl must not talk about liking a guy otherwise she is disgusting and has no shame.

A girl must not talk about men because talking about men suggests she has desires which are wrong and bad that no girl should have.

BUT, some age 21+, something magical happens whilst everyone is sleeping one night:

A girl must be married soon because she is beginning to get old.

A girl must be with a man otherwise she will be alone for the rest of her life.

A girl must marry so that she can have children and look after "her" man.

When does this magical night happen? For the men here I ask a similar question: when is the magical night you stop protecting daughter from the evil, predatory men out there and in fact encourage her to marry them? ( ) When do you come to this conclusion.

It's a delicate balance..to reconcile modesty with rules of seeking/selecting husband. and even if a girl goes about the safest route and have her parents select a husband, there's still the concern of how to approach him....I remember a story I heard of a girl who acted very naughty during her wedding night and her new husband began to worry that she had a sketchy past
