Somalis always try to take a dig at Arabs specially when dealing with Islam. They try to call the hijab and jilbab arab culture.

People were trying to take a dig at the Boqor cuz he was wearing Arab clothing. When did the suit become Somali clothing.

I'm just against this bias against Arabs, indeed Arabic is our second language.

Anyways to be a Somali you have to be a muslim which you're not. Any Somali that leaves the religion revokes his ethnicity.

Arabic is our second language, on the contrary, Arabic is lingua franca between the students of knowledge and the scholars, while also 90% of the schools in Somalia teach their whole curriculum in Arabic. I was one of those students as a dhaqan celis kid.

I'd go as far as saying that 70% of people aged 16-25 are fluent in Arabic while 50% of the rest of the population understand it. How do they watch Aljazeera and news in general?

stop making up stuff. the only somalis i know who know arabic either lived in the gulf or are waadads. which isn't saying much since somalis in the west know english.

if you go to the baadiye, no one there knows arabic.

Nigga I'm talking about Somalis back home, not the west. You've got a point about reer badiye but they're a minority now, majority live in cities.

I don't think you've been Somalia, but I've been and experienced it, majority of males know Arabic. All the khutbahs, most of schooling and alot of other things are done in Arabic.

I kind of agree with the thread opener. That Somalis have this thing called Arab boogeyman, they like to insult or bitch about Arabs 24/7. Why can't you guys just leave Arabs alone?
